Ali was a 4-Year All League player at San Gabriel High. She was a 2-time league MVP, 2-time All CIF selection and the San Gabriel Valley POTY in 1995. At Cerritos College, she was a 2-time All Conference and All Southern CA Regional selection in 1997. At Southeastern Louisiana University, she ranked 3rd in NCAA DI in aces 1998 and was a CCAA POTW in 1999 while at Sonoma State. Ali started coaching club in 1997 and is a former club owner & director and spent 17 years as a college coach. Her accolades include coaching the Cerritos College team that knocked off Golden West after 12 straight years of state championship appearances. She coached the 1st volleyball All American at Whittier College and was the only female head coach of a men’s NCAA DI/DII program in the country while at Holy Names University. She coached the 1st ever conference championship team at Mt. SAC where she garnered COTY honors and she created the beach volleyball program at Mt. SAC.

I have dual citizenship (Italy), my husband played pro basketball in Azerbaijan and Austria and I’ve played on 3 professional volleyball tours throughout Europe. I played collegiate beach volleyball for Cypress College in my early 40s. Bing Crosby is a cousin, I used to work for Kirk Douglas and I serve on the Board for a local youth musical theater non-profit organization.
