Naseri Tumanuvao

Naseri Tumunauvao begins his 4th season at Tstreet Volleyball, once again Head Coaching the 17-1s. His passion for the game of volleyball began at Lakewood High, earning First Team All-Moore League. Naseri continued playing at Long Beach City College, where he was part of the LBCC State Championship team in 2006, earning State Championship Tournament MVP, Western State All Conference First Team and All Tournament First Team in 2006 & 2007.

Naseri went on to complete his academic degree and volleyball career at Concordia University in Irvine. He was named NAIA Player of the Year in 2013, NAIA All-American, was a member of the NAIA All-Tournament Team, NAIA Tournament Hitting Percentage Leader, and First Team All-MAMVIC National Conference. The Eagles won the NAIA Conference Championship in 2013, while Naseri led the team in kills. In 2014, the Eagles were NAIA Championship Finalists and Naseri earned First Team All-MAMVIC National Conference and the Morgan Classic Tournament MVP.

Naseri completed his Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration at Concordia University, Irvine in 2018, and completed his Exercise Sports Science Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Coaching from Concordia University in 2014. He has been coaching club volleyball since 2005. Naseri is currently the Assistant Coach for the women at Cal State Fullerton.

Naseri enjoys staying active by playing beach volleyball and basketball in his spare time.
