Curtis Yoder


With Tstreet since 2008


Entering his 11th year with Tstreet Volleyball Club, longtime coach Curtis has been around sand and indoor volleyball all of his life. Great with kids and teaching movement patterns and systems, Curtis’ teams improve dramatically over the season and enjoy the journey. Curtis is also an Assistant Coach for Hope International University under fellow Tstreet coach Jess Walker.

No stranger to fierce competition, he most recently won the Bronze Medal in the American Division at the 2017 GJNC’s in Minneapolis. In 2016, he was the Head Coach of 15-Curtis as they captured the American Division Gold Medal at the 2016 Junior National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2015, 16-Curtis earned an Open Division Bronze Medal in New Orleans, Louisiana. Curtis is a strong foundational and tactical coach who inspires and empowers all of his athletes. He is also part of the Tstreet Coaching Board, which oversees teams and works with coaches, players and parents throughout the season.

A member of the Yoder family, Curtis has playing and coaching volleyball in his DNA. Curtis was a standout outside hitter at San Clemente High School.  At age 16, he won a Gold Medal at the Junior Olympics.
